On August 18th current University of Michigan swimming coach Mark Hill, and former Michigan captains Bobby Savulich and Roman Willets will be conducting a swimming clinic at the Fuller Park Pool. We will provide coaching that includes stroke technique and motivational speaking. You will become a better swimmer through methods proven successful by swimmers in the Olympic Games. Swimmers need to not only train hard, but also swim smart!
They have a wealth of swimming knowledge to share including The Three Style Freestyle™. It is used by the best swimmers in the world and teaches you how to use the connections in your body to swim smarter. The three styles include hip-driven, shoulder-drive, and body-driven freestyle. They will engage your mind and help you understand how to swim efficiently and quickly to improve your stroke.
Mark was a coach at the 2012 Olympic Games and 2013 World Championships. Bobby is a USA National Champion, World University Games Gold and Silver Medalist, Pan American Games 2x Silver Medalist, 13x Big Ten Champion. Roman is a 2013 Team NCAA National Championship, 3 Big Ten Championships and NCAA All American.

We believe the center-mounted snorkel is essential for technique work, so we strongly encourage that all swimmers bring one.
Swimmers will also have the option to be filmed and have their stroke critiqued (see below for example). The fee is $20 per stroke. Filming will take place at the end of the clinic. The analysis will take up to three weeks to complete and will be emailed to you.
Please RSVP by filling out the contact form here. Indicate if you would like to purchase the snorkel ($25) and how many optional video analysis you would like ($20 per stroke). RSVP is not required. If you would like to register the day of, the clinic fee is increased to $60.
